Hello, I've worked in financial services my entire working life (that's a long time,) and in mortgage broking specifically for almost 20 years.

I've always wanted to be my own boss. First I became a mortgage broker on a self-employed basis, but that wasn't enough. I wanted to create a lasting brand that reflected me and my ethos.

When a client visits me, I believe they want to know only a few key things: Can they get a mortgage, how much will it cost, and what happens next and into the future? Of course, they want to receive the best advice (they will), and to know that they are getting a good deal (that too), but these three questions are their main drivers.

I'm passionate about straightforward, no nonsense advice that is given in plain English. (That's my northern heritage coming through there!) Obviously there are the regulatory things that must be said but I believe in getting efficiently to the point.

If I can't help you, I will tell you. I won't waste your time. This straight-talking approach blended with empathy and understanding is what I believe has led many clients to use my services time and time again, and to refer me to their friends and family.

I also have this real drive to deliver. In this modern, post pandemic, post credit crunch, world of mortgages, lenders are asking many more questions of clients and in many cases, you would be forgiven for thinking that they just don't want to do business.

This is where I come into my own. Where I believe it is right to do so, I will fight harder than anyone to secure the best outcome for my clients, and I will not give up until I deliver.
